Pwllheli Challenge - Autumn Series
With racing cancelled on Sunday due to strong southerly winds, the Pwllheli Challenge was concluded on Saturday 18th November, with 16 races completed over five weekends, with 15 boats taking part.

The ever popular and well supported series, managed by racing captain Vicky Cox, had some tight and challenging racing set by our race officers Robin Evans and Brian Metcalf, starting us from the PSC bridge at Gimblet, around the club marks.

Congratulations to Class one and overall winners J109 "Mojito" (Peter Dunlop and Vicky Cox and crew) with J70 "Sgrech Bach" (Stephen Tudor, Mark Thompson, Thomas Tudor, Awel Tudor and Iago Tudor) 2nd overall, 1st in class 2 and 1st sports boat, pushed hard all series by fellow J70 "Mojito Bach" skippered by Chris Jones, finishing 3rd overall and 2nd in class 2 - a fantastic result for this young crew.

"Finally" (Paul Kitteringham) completed the Tremadog triangle on Sunday, ahead of the racing marks being lifted for their winter maintenance, securing the IRC Trophy
Racing continues for the light-hearted and fun Winter series, with racing crews planning a last minute attempts to complete the "Commodore Challenge" before the cut off date of December 2nd.
