Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues

A feeling of exhausted satisfaction sums up our successful completion of four days cycling from Walney Island to Whitby. The training schedule in Yorkshire and Wales stood us in good stead and we were also really well looked after by a magnificent support team of family and friends who kept us on the road, keeping us regularly fed and watered and with occasional trips to bike shops for on road repairs! We were relatively lucky with the weather and only got a couple of soakings. There are many stories to tell of spills and thrills and loads of photos but I will only subject you to the odd one!! Hen and Chicks were in the corner of the bar at Tan Hill pub!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored Eleri and I and other members of the team. It has helped us to raise a total of over £12,200 so far, for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The money continues to come in and this will help to fund the annual cost of a nursing assistant who will be providing free care for terminally ill people.
