Pwllheli at the Olympics
Our top events team – Gareth, Neil, Dez and Bryn - are off to Weymouth at the weekend for the Olympic sailing event. They have responsibility for mark-laying and safety on the windsurfer course.
This is the culmination of preparation at Sail for Gold regattas over several years and the Pre-Olympic Test Event in 2011. We wish them well and good luck for ‘a once in a life time’ experience.
You may have heard them on S4C earlier this week talking about their volunteer role at the Olympics and the benefits the experience will bring to the Club for future championships here. This puts the Club firmly on a world class level.
