English (UK) The Welsh Laser Squad were training at Plas Heli on weekend 12 and 13th February with internationally renowned coach, Alan Williams.
The youngsters also had the privalage of meeting Alison Young a GBR Olympic Laser Radial sailor at 3 Games and former Women’s Laser Radial World Champion. Ali helped the youngsters with the training, something I am sure they will be remembered for ever!
It was Alis' first time at the Academy having previously raced at national events out of the old Club. She said 'that it is a great facility which compliments the world class waters of Cardigan Bay.'
