NORTH WALES ONBOARD FESTIVAL 2011

Nine CHIPAC sailors Chloe, James, Christopher, Wil, Indeg, Gethin, Sam, Hari, and  Molly travelled to Bala for the first North Wales Onboard Festival on 4 September 2011. 
We had representation in the Optimist Onboard fleet with Hari and Molly, Sam in the Topper Onboard fleet.  Christopher in the main Optimist fleet and Wil in the main Topper fleet together with Chloe, James, Indeg and Gethin sailing the Fevas in the general handicap class.
The weather was kind over the weekend allowing a good training day on Saturday in fairly strong conditions.  Sunday started with mist and no wind but this disappeared in time for a good day’s racing.
Gwyndaf presented the PSC perpetual cup to the winning gold fleet in the main Topper Class sailor Hannah Roberts from PD.
