The local mountain walks are stunning and include the Nantlle Ridge (Craig Cwm Silyn about a mile away on pleasant quiet lanes) with Snowdon just 20 minutes drive for a choice of paths or a seasonal steam train. Plenty of castles to see and exciting activities to do. Ideal base for walking, cycling, climbing, sailing and outdoor enjoyment. Towns of Caernarfon, Pwllheli, and Porthmadog are up to 25 minutes drive, with Bangor and Anglesey just a little further.
