Cymraeg Shake Down Cruise' to Abersoch SCYC, May the 23rd, 2015.
Forty members representing 17 boats adventured to Abersoch SCYC this Bank Holiday Saturday. Calm seas, great for both sail and power, enough wind for a gentle sail and a flat sea for our power companions.
Only one boat had to move from anchoring on the SCYC racing starting line, we all know who that was!
"The Cove," at SCYC, welcomed us as always providing scrumptious food.
Our members occupied most of the picnic tables outside on the veranda overlooking the spectacular views of Cardigan Bay. The sun shinning on us was also a welcoming surprise, although by the end of the day there were a few glowing red faces.
Members joined each other on different boats in the marina upon our return and carried on chatting, eating and having a few drinks among friends.
A very special start to, what we hope, a great season.

Due to unpredictable weather the Sunday BBQ had to be cancelled and will be re- arranged when the weather is more predictable.
